RCNJ Representative Sought for May 13 Open House in Troy

It's that time of year again - Rensselaer's Commencement
is fast approaching. The graduating students are busy completing their
last classes, preparing for exams, and packing up for new adventures
outside of Rensselaer. To help prepare them for what lies ahead, the
Office of Alumni Relations will be hosting the fourth annual Regional Open House on Monday, May 13, 2002 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Heffner Alumni
House. This event serves as an excellent opportunity for alumni to meet
graduating seniors and graduate students in an effort to assist them in
making a smooth transition to life after college.

Jackie Baker continued:
We hope you will be able to attend the Regional Alumni Open House. As the
New Jersey regional representative, your role will be to welcome graduating
students to your area and provide some of the information they need for a
successful relocation. This opportunity for you to meet with graduating
students not only allows you to share your knowledge and experience but it
also enables you to tap into an audience of enthusiastic potential young
alumni chapter volunteers to help build membership and activities.
Following the event, we invite you to be our guest for dinner along with
the other chapter presidents/members. During dinner, you will be able to
share ideas and strategies for engaging your local alumni in chapter
activities.
