Venture Forum Presents Business Plan Contest Kickoff on November 2
Tom Payne '86 let us know that the Rensselaer Entrepreneur Network is holding a Venture Forum meeting on November 2 at the New York Athletic Club. One of the purposes of this meeting is to kickoff the "Open" Business Plan Competition sponsored by the Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship. It's somewhat difficult to summarize the many purposes of this event. As we mentioned above, it introduces the Sixth Annual Open Business Plan Competition that is sponsored by Rensselaer. Another purpose is to bring representatives from several Incubator Center companies to New York so that they can present a summary of their work.
Perhaps the greatest purpose of this meeting is to begin a series of quarterly networking opportunities for entrepreneurs, "angel" investors, venture capitalists, and professionals providing services to these groups.
